It was your turn to move? In principle it was against the rulues but valid.

Otb your opponent could wait until you find the winning move and accept it after you moved. :D Hurts even more.

In chess often small details become crucial. Think outside the box!

Btw, 32. ... c1Q is much easier. ;-)

A common mistake I notice often when watching inexperienced players: they see no instant break-through and draw? draw!

Plenty of play, levers, completely winning - they lack experience and fantasy.
