List some of the best chess movies

·Searching for Bobby Fischer
I wonder if Pawn Sacrfice will be any good this year. Hopefully Peter Parker (Toby McGuire) pulls his weight.
Searching for BF was by far the best one I've seen.

The Seventh Seal is a classic masterpiece by one of the great filmmakers of all time (Ingmar Bergman), but it's only tangentially related to chess.

Queen to Play and The Luzhin Defense were both mediocre. There aren't many fictional films about chess.
I recommend The Seventh Seal, just because it's of a higher caliber than any chess-related film you could possibly be exposed to.
The only chess movie I've seen is "Searching For Bobby Fischer."
Not counting documentaries. I have very limited chess documentary exposure. Garry Kasparov vs The Machine is worth watching just to hear Kasparov speak.
Though the book "Curiosity" is really good. It's a real page turner.
