Queen is overrated

Most players, especially in my elo overrate the queen. Like, ridiculously. In this game: http://en.lichess.org/UcZQnVrP#15 I decided to transition from the opening to a trap normally found in the Tennison Gambit. After an analysis, the computer puts him at a slight advantage. He resigned, but with my active queen vs his material advantage, who was really ahead?
its a very sharp game, you should have played, he should not have resigned
black is winning there I think because of the knight on c2,
and bishop discovered attack to white king, after you get his queen on 8 file, its kind of easy to get your queen lost, just with the same tactic that you used, bishop and check and this time a rook takes
so my glance tells me kxg6, qxd8, knightxc2 then you have to move the king to d2 or to f1, but both are not very good squares for white cause the other two you have the discovered check.
So yes, you are right, he should not have resigned.
Well, I don't see why you're right although white moves first and given that he loses his queen and another piece he wouldn't have the material advantage although there is a possibility for checkmate of course.
Yes, Black is winning the rook and has clear compensation for the queen. Should not have resigned, position was still balanced.

People are used to resigning when blundering their queen, but they should evaluate whether or not there is compensation or tactics to recover the material first.

Nc3 as a follow up move as made by SF is not good. The aim is to win the Knight on a1, as a potential Bf5 will basically keep the knight alive on c2, completely winning the game, as you demonstrated. The best move, after hxg6 (Kg6 is not good), Qxd8, Nc2, Kf1, would be Qd4, winning the knight on a1. The position is absolutely unclear after Qd4, and therefore very interesting.
