My opinion of the new rating system.

Now that pools ratings count for standard, why can't we merge them with their respective time controls ratings ? 1+0 pool rating with bullet rating etc ? I don't see a reason not to from now on.
With disabling colour choice in rated games, of course.
I have question-
In recalculation are included lost points for games with cheaters?
Yes, lost points for games with cheaters are included.
@#21: Because in pools you can't select your opponent, which makes the rating more meaningful in a way.
do not like the change! Don't know why people think that the change lead to another rating inflation. At least concerning bullet, ratings are now definitely deflated. My bullet rating is now below my FIDE rating and that should IMHO never happen when playing online on a decent site. My bullet rating here is now the same level like my bullet rating on chess.com and everybody knows that chess.com bullet ratings are definitely deflated.
It`s interesting that people talk about inflated ratings. My overall rating dropped by more than 100 points. I think it`s not a problem at all, since we are all under the same rules. Maybe my 1 0 pool (much lower) rating is deflating too much my overall rating, not sure about that.
About the rating graphs, I liked the one with the two lines, one for me and another for my opponent`s ratings, and now it`s gone.
I also think that it was nice to see that there where no discrepancies between my results with black or white, and now that feature is gone, too. For some players it could be an alert that they where losing more with white than with black, for example.
I really don't understand some points friends. I'm a new player here, this site is really cool, in my opinion has a prominent future. Personally, I like to play against players better than me, my formula for challenges is searching players with more rating than me. Enjoy the game, enjoy this fantastic site and leave the cheaters with this inflated ratings foolishness alone, that's all (sorry for my english).
"I think true ratings are only reflected by your pool ratings"

I highly disagree.

In the pool, there are virtually no weak players. There is an illusion of balance but really it's quite imbalanced.

I usually play a range of 1200-2000 and often pick BLACK more than white when I play standard games. But even if one were to only play lower ranks, that only means they lose more points when they lose.

Also, winning too many games in a row makes you win less points when you win, but lose more if you lose.

Glicko is pretty good, but I don't think pools are very balanced.
Not to mention the sample size of the lichess population in the pools is so tiny. There are very few members in the pools compared to the main site. Almost all players 1500 or less who try the pools get discouraged and don't become regulars.

The regulars are the good players.
