I know this has always been a bit of a problem at times, but lately it's made the game unplayable. I don't know if it's the servers or what, but I've been having connection issues and due to lichess'
often "Reconnecting" I've lost a few games on time since I move, and it shows my move, but my clock continues to run.
Maybe upgrade servers or something (which I know requires money, but still)? I don't know what else could be the problem, my personal internet connection is great.

What do you expect from a free, non-advert web-site built by one dude? Whah whah you lost a game or two as a result, bfd. Stop complaining. Go play somehwere else.
I don't agree with you...bugs and lags are far more frequent this last days, but lichess used to work quite well. When he will have time, thibault will eventually fix it.
I feel kind of worried since he'd say that it was the server owner's fault or whatever and that he had no control over that, but at this extent I'm sure there's something that can be done.
Not a new server necessarily, but if the game constantly shows "Reconnecting..." every 8 seconds of games I play, something's gotta be changeable. :D I see a few games where one player's clock keeps
counting down and resetting up to the nearest 10 seconds, even though it's the other player's turn. One game, the instant I resigned, it added a third rook on the board for some reason XD
I know about that very well. I'm working hard on a solution. Expect salvation soon.
Oh cry about it. Connection will get better. This is a free game. unless you want to provide direct assistance (a server, or coding), keep your entitlement to yourself.
Well I think it is great that our beloved admin is on it, and its true that this is a completly free site, wich is absolutly cool!
However the lag is kinda frustrating (not as much for longer time controlls) for the Bullet-players. Let's just hope he will get that done.
