When sending a link to a friend, upon them clicking it, they go to the game as a spectator, not as the opposing player.

Hello, I tried some days back to play with someone and we were unable to do so due to this issue, I forgot about it until today I experienced it again, both times were with different persons and both times I was on different computers.

I'm having this problem too, with all my meatspace friends. I'm trying it with Firefox and Chrome, to no avail, and I get the same results when they try initiating the game. I use public computers on several different networks, and run into the same issue everywhere.

Are you sure you're copying the link in the center of the page and not the link in your URL bar? It's working fine for me.

I used to have this issue when playing with friend.
Although I havent tried playing against friend in long time.

usually IM, either messenger, jabber, facebook chat or office communicator
