Since when did this feature come? And, why?
I think it's sorta annoying. I play 2+ games at once because I help people with antichess. But, I was playing a rated game against a 1500er (with longer time controls [like 10+2]) and tried to start another game against someone else and got automatically resigned--against a 1500er.
Lichess, I LOVE you, but, could you please reconsider this?
yes please reconsider this... its annoying when i cant play one of my my other friends in a quick game while my opponent in a longer time control game is thinking...
Did you close the tab? It happened to me only once when I closed a tab to try to reload the page that was stuck. Also, somehow related, does anyone know how to turn off the auto switch between more games? I would prefer to switch manually between the different tabs instead of having to change game each move, no matter how many tabs I have opened.

Probably because everyone is fed up with people who create 2 or 3 games, only to abandon all but one of them and let their clocks run out in the other games with no way to claim victory or the like? Just speculation.
^^I get your point. But, it's still annoying for me. However, I see how it could benefit the larger Lichess community.
You know, I was just wondering about this myself. Is this confirmed: You can only play one game at a time here @ Lichess? It matters not for me since I wouldn't play multiple games anyway but I'm curious.
Oh and I forgot: Can you put up multiple seeks?
