thanks guys :} you know why i love this site? the owners are not money hungry this site is made with pure love of the game no ads no premium members its all free a fantastic i love it.
There are two things I can't stand when it comes to websites: premium (pay required) features, and advertisements.
Premium services are ridiculous in my opinion; everyone, even the under privileged, should be able to enjoy the site.
Advertisements: pointless wastes of space. People don't seem to understand that shoving a product in my face won't make me want it - it makes me despise it (to some degree).
Lichess is completely free to everyone, and thus is the only chess site I would ever recommend.
